One of metformin hydrochloride 1000 mg side effects the really fun things about working in this business is that sooner or later, you get to hear from everybody.
It can be anything from last weekend’s high school sports scores to a birth or wedding announcement. Sometimes it’s the latest from the town council. Or it’s a letter or phone call from someone in the community.
I figure you can never have too many voices adding to the conversation. It may get a little loud and confusing at times, but eventually the dust settles and you’re left with a pretty good picture of who we, as a community, are and what we care about.
So when we got a call from the Waterville School about adding one more voice, our ears perked up in no small way.
As part of an innovative new program at the school, three elementary students will be partnering with us as journalists in training. It’s not a random assignment they were given; it’s a job that they applied for, solicited references for and earned.
Under the watchful eye of Justin Grillo, the school’s third-grade teacher, they’ll be writing about events in the school and the larger community from their own unique perspective. We’ll be working with them in the same way editors always work with writers — helping them hone and polish their material.
We’re calling them JITterbugs: Journalists In Training. You’ll see their first contributions in the pages of this week’s issue.
We’re pretty excited about this new arrangement. We hope you’ll enjoy it too.
