Milt and Jan Herman of East Wenatchee celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner at the Malaga home of Todd and Cathy Eggers last month.

The event was planned by their daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Gary Ike of Vancouver and Lindsay and Matthew Breidenthal of Wenatchee.

Jan Montgomery and Milt Herman were married May 27, 1961, at Grace Lutheran Church in Englewood, Colo.

The couple have lived in Englewood, Tacoma, Chicago,  East Wenatchee and Twisp.

He is a doctor of optometry with offices in Wenatchee and Twisp.

She worked with the vice president of business and finance at Pacific Lutheran University and worked at Central Washington Bank. She also worked as an office manager at both of her husband’s offices.

The Hermans have three grandchildren.
