She is the daughter of Rick Van Auken and Christy Nygaard of Bellevue and Lillie Blankenship-Foote and Daniel Foote of Pasco. His parents are Ed and Jean Maw of Mansfield.
The couple were attended by Erin Skaug of Pasco, sister of the bride, and Luke Lillquist of Spokane.
A reception followed on Maui.
The newlyweds honeymooned on Maui and have settled in Spokane.
She graduated from Moses Lake High School in 2000. She graduated from Eastern Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in applied developmental psychology in 2005 and from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2009. She is a registered nurse at Valley Surgery Center in Spokane.
He graduated from Mansfield High School in 1998 and from Gonzaga University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2004. He is a mechanical engineer at Matrical Bioscience in Spokane.
