Shockers volleyball loses to Bears

The Waterville metformin hydrochloride 500 mg volleyball team’s playoff chances are dwindling.
The Shockers lost another Central Washington B League North Division match on Oct. 11, dropping three straight sets to Brewster. The defeat knocked Waterville’s league mark down to 2-5, and the team now faces a stiff challenge to climb its way into the fourth and final playoff spot.
The Shockers played at Bridgeport on Tuesday (results were unavailable at press time), then will take on Oroville on Thursday and will have a rematch with Brewster Saturday.

Waterville played better as the match went on, but couldn’t find consistency against the Bears.
“Although (we) started out a little slow, the girls eventually started picking up their pace to match Brewster’s offense,” said coach Jill Moomaw. “They improved immensely as their serve receive enhanced their ability to transition effective attacks. By the third game, there were some really good rallies and some great plays. (I) love playing teams like Brewster because they challenge the girls to play a quicker and cleaner game.”
Alyssa Moomaw had two kills, 11 assists, three digs and two blocks to lead the Shockers. Briana Hinderer had two digs and two kills, while Diana Davila had three digs, four kills and three blocks. Hanna Clements had two assists, while Kamryn Shafer had five kills. Bailey Bromiley had three digs, Kassidy Simmons had four blocks and Kathleen Schmitz had two digs.
“Alyssa had a consistent and effective game offensively,” said Jill Moomaw, “and Briana Hinderer was keeping pace defensively.”
