Long week for the Shockers

The Shockers metformin weight loss clomid had a long week with three games, and it proved to be tough. On Jan. 31, they played the Riverside Christian Crusaders. The Shockers played a slow first period, shooting only five points, and the Crusaders shot very well, having 23 to start. Riverside never looked back, and the Shockers lost 75-37. Waterville shot 33 percent from the field.

Tate Newcomb had 10 points to lead the team. Jamie Abrahamse and Robert Parcells had nine points apiece.

“They’re a good team, and we played very well against them. We aren’t at the point where we can beat them, but we will be.” Coach Heath Jordan said.

The Shockers also played the Entiat Tigers on Feb. 3. This was a must-win game in order for the Shockers to get into districts. Bad shooting and good defense by the Tigers led to a slow first period for the Shockers. They made a comeback in the second and fourth periods, but weren’t able to pull out a win, with a score of 51-45.

Parcells had 11 points to lead the team. Newcomb, Walter Edger and Marco Caballero each had seven points. Abrahamse had nine rebounds.

The Shockers shot for 33 percent again and were only 4-19 in three-point shooting. “They weren’t ready to play, it was a heartbreaker for us.” Coach Jordan said.

The last game was a trip to White Swan, where the Shockers played their hardest game all season. They also played extremely hard, in a 82-35 loss.

Wyatt Mires had nine points to lead the team. Abrahamse had seven points and lead the rebounding.

“The press got to us, and we weren’t able to do anything. The young guys got some good play time, and it’s good to see them stepping up and improving for the good of the team.” Coach Jordan said.
