Pictorial Past | Water for Brays Landing

Amidst flying dust, men and machines create another irrigation development in North Central Washington in the summer of 1964. It is at Brays Landing, one of the units of the Greater Wenatchee Irrigation Project. This crane is on a hilltop overlooking one of the Douglas County flats that will be irrigated. It is upstream from Orondo along the Columbia River. (Provided photo/Wenatchee World archives)
