Vanishing Vessel

The sternwheeler Bridgeport on its last run on the Columbia River hauls materials to crews constructing the Brewster-Bridgeport bridge in 1928. The vessel was built in 1915 by Capt. Fred McDermott and it operated between Bridgeport and Pateros with wheat and apples as its primary cargo.
