After a long four and a half hour drive to Metaline Falls on Sept. 18, Waterville/Mansfield lost their football game to the Selkirk Rangers 44-0. The powerful Ranger defense was able to hold the Shocker running game at bay while mounting powerful offensive drives of their own for the win.

The Shockers play the Pateros Billygoats at home Sept. 25. They will not have a game on Oct. 2, but will then face the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions at Waterville for the homecoming game Oct. 9.
