SOAP LAKE — Waterville struggled to find the end zone against host Soap Lake in a 54-0 loss in Central Washington 2B League football action Sept. 9.

Some small execution errors by the Shockers’ defense allowed the Eagles to make several big plays, as they tallied seven touchdowns in the first half. Fumbles and penalties plagued Waterville and contributed to the Shockers being held scoreless.

Waterville coach Tayn Kendrick complimented the efforts of Will Osborne and John Mullen. Both players stayed in the contest for the entire game and were able to make a big impact for the Shockers.

The Shockers will meet Bridgeport at home at 7 p.m. Sept. 15.
