Recording artist raising funds for wildfire recovery

BREWSTER — Brewster-based singer/songwriter Brittany Jean will appear in a series of concerts in November and December to raise funds for Okanogan County Long Term Fire Recovery Group efforts.

Brittany Jean wrote “Wildfire” about the night her hometown was evacuated in advance of the largest wildfire in state history. She donated use of the song to the video the Carlton Complex Long Term Recovery Group used to spread the word about the area’s need for assistance.

Performances are:

Nov. 5: Snowy Owl Theater in Leavenworth, 5 p.m.

Nov. 12: The Merc Playhouse in Twisp, 5 p.m.

Nov. 23: The Ruby Theatre in Chelan, 7 p.m.

Dec. 17: Numerica Performing Arts Center in Wenatchee, 7 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for adults, and $10 for children under 18. All proceeds will go to long-term recovery efforts.
