Pacific Science Center brings program to the area

NCW — The Pacific Science Center will bring its traveling “Jolts and Volts” program to several North Central Washington communities next week.

Electricity will be illuminated in a series of experiences including the Van de Graaf generator and Tesla coil.

The program is for all ages and will be held at 2 and 6 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Wenatchee Public Library; 11 a.m. Aug. 3 at Brewster’s Fire House meeting room; and 3 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Bridgeport Elementary School Gym. The program will also take place in other locations around NCW including Moses Lake, Mattawa, Grand Coulee, Coulee City, Oroville and Tonasket.

The “Science on Wheels” presentation is co-sponsored by the North Central Regional Library.
