The North Central Washington Fair will again be seeking a new manager.

Douglas County Administrator James Barker said Sept. 8 that he received a resignation letter from Manager Loni Rahm on Sept. 7. Rahm had been in the position since May 8.

Barker said that Rahm did not give a reason for her resignation.

He said that the fair would be soliciting applications for the manager position starting the week of Sept. 11, and that he and others involved are hoping that the position can be filled soon.

“We want to get (him or her) on board as soon as possible,” Barker said.

The fair spent about six months from the end of 2016 until May of this year searching for a replacement for Eric Granstrom, who resigned in the fall of 2016. Ed Daling served as interim director this winter and spring.
