Waterville’s preschool and elementary school students enjoyed a day of Halloween fun on Oct. 31.

Earlier in the day, the preschool children dressed in their costumes and visited various downtown merchants for trick-or-treating, accompanied by several parents. The preschool is based at the Federated Church with Sharon Long as the director.

The elementary school students, in their favorite costumes, paraded around the school in the afternoon before arriving on main street to receive treats from Waterville businesses.

Halloween activities are a tradition in Waterville. Parents and community members look forward to watching the children as they show off their costumes. The youngsters seemed to enjoy themselves and went home with sacks full of candy.
