The Wyldlife Club, a part of the Young Life organization, has formed in Waterville.

The first Wyldlife Club event will be held at 6:30 p.m. March 9 at the home of Jill Moomaw. All middle school students in the Waterville area are welcome to participate. Moomaw, Chad Hutchison, Haylee Newcomb, Mondo Davila and Jennifer Holcomb will be heading up this new chapter with hopes of providing the area’s middle school students a place to connect, have fun and hear a faith message.

Middle school students are full of life and yet they are experiencing profound emotional and physical changes. Sixth through eighth grade is a time when kids make important decisions about who they are and what they believe. Young Life has long been a great influence in the Waterville community among high school youth, and Wyldlife intends to provide a similar ministry focus for middle school students.

The goal of this group is to provide fun and engaging activities in addition to providing positive influences through the leadership team.

Wyldlife will meet the second Friday of every month. For more information or questions, call or text Moomaw at 881-1853.
