Red Cross announces blood drives in April

WENATCHEE — The American Red Cross encourages eligible donors to give blood during National Volunteer Month in April. Volunteer donors are the only source of blood products for those in need of transfusions. Donors of all blood types are needed to help meet patient needs this spring.

The following area blood drives are scheduled for the remainder of April:

  • 1 to 7 p.m. April 16, Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 1315 8th St. N.E., East Wenatchee
  • 11 a.m to 5 p.m. April 17, Wenatchee Community Center, 504 S. Chelan Ave., Wenatchee
  • Noon to 6 p.m. April 18, United Methodist Church, 206 N. Emerson St., Chelan
  • Noon to 5 p.m. April 19, Brewster Boys and Girls Club, 601 W. Cliff Ave., Brewster
  • 1:30 to 7 p.m. April 30, Kings Orchard Church of Christ, 1610 Orchard Ave., Wenatchee

Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
