Interpersonal leadership workshop for nonprofits

NCW — The Nonprofit Practices Institute, a partnership of the Community Foundation of NCW and the Icicle Fund, will host a workshop next month at two locations in North Central Washington to guide nonprofit organizations in interpersonal leadership styles.

This workshop examines various leadership styles and the impact of those individual styles of behavior on producing results. Participants will take a survey in advance of the workshop, then review the results in a collaborative setting.

The workshop is intended for nonprofit leaders, including staff and board, but anyone is welcome to attend. Each participant will take home a booklet with their individual survey results along with tips and tools for communication. Leslie Sholl Jaffee will be the facilitator.

The workshop will be held Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m at Pybus Market in Wenatchee, and Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Howard’s on the River in Pateros.

Advanced registration is required and space is limited. There is a $40 fee that includes light refreshments, lunch and the individual survey. The deadline to register is Aug. 28
