Color Rush run to benefit United Way

WENATCHEE — United Way of North Central Washington will host the Confluence Health Color Rush Fun Run on Sept. 16 at 8 a.m.

The family-friendly 5k run is designed for all ages and all abilities to walk, dance, run or roll along the Apple Capital Loop Trail starting at Pybus Market. Along the course, participants will encounter five “blast zones” where they will be sprayed with vibrant, non-toxic colored power.

The run will end at the Worx Gym parking lot for a celebration including music, photo opportunities and a color explosion for everyone.

Check-in is from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 15 at Pybus and before the start of Sunday’s race.

Registration is $35 for adults and youth 13 and older; $20 for children 6 to 12; and children 5 and under are free. Registration includes a T-shirt and two color packets.
