South Douglas Conservation District tree sale coming up; order by March 26

WATERVILLE — Orders are now being accepted for the South Douglas Conservation District’s 30th annual spring tree and shrub sale.

Native and adapted plant varieties are available for windbreaks, wildlife habitat, erosion control and landscaping.

The catalog, which describes each plant’s growing needs and characteristics, may be picked up at the conservation district office in Waterville, mailed out by calling 745-9160, or viewed online at southdouglascd.org.

Orders will be taken until March 26, with pickup April 6 at the NCW Fairgrounds in Waterville.

Proceeds from the sale are used to promote conservation in the South Douglas Conservation District.
