Mansfield Food Bank Finds New Home

The Mansfield Food Bank has relocated to 22 Main Street in Mansfield. It serves approximately 30 families and provides an important community service. The food bank was formerly located at the United Protestant Church for temporary food distribution.

Waterville/Mansfield baseball team hands two games to Liberty Bell

The Waterville/Mansfield Shockers boys’ baseball team lost both games in a double header with the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions on April 21. The Mountain Lions won the first game 13-4. In spite of the loss, Shocker pitcher Tristen Marden threw nine strikeouts and Jacob Stibal hit a solo home run. The visiting Waterville-Mansfield softball team on April 26 got a pair of wins against Central Washington 1B League counterparts Pateros near the mouth of the Methow.   Waterville/Mansfield’s baseball and softball teams were on the road and at home in action last week. The Shockers traveled first to Bridgeport April 17. The boys overtook the Mustangs 27-6.
