Fire District 4 recruit at academy training

ORONDO — Cullen Daniel, a recruit from Douglas County Fire District 4, is attending Firefighter 1 and 2 Recruit Academy at the Washington State Fire Training Academy in North Bend. Daniel is among 26 firefighter recruits who began their 12-week training Jan. 29. The group will learn fire service principles through classroom instruction and hands-on live fire training.
